The Atlanta Science Festival is a weeklong celebration of local science and technology held March 15-25, 2017. Scientists and educators from local colleges, museums and companies will uncover mysteries and explain discoveries in hands-on activities, facility tours, stimulating presentations, and riveting performances for adults and children of all ages. In this hands-on teacher workshop, you will develop skills to bring the cutting edge of biology and space exploration into your own classroom. With an innovative teaching toolkit from miniPCR, you will solve a food contamination crisis at the International Space Station using the essential biotech techniques of PCR and electrophoresis.
