Two-Year Technical Colleges and Biotechnology Programs
Georgia BioEd’s mission is to align the current and future workforce in Georgia with the needs of its Life Sciences sector. In order to fulfill this mission we are focused on the Bioscience Workforce Pipeline. Technical Colleges that offer biotechnology diploma programs are an important part of this pipeline. In Georgia, we are proud to have rigorous STEM programs at all levels of education. Technical College Biotechnology programs are an excellent example of the National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education focus, with the goals of continuing the pipeline of training rigor that contributes to a robust life sciences workforce.
